There was a young girl, about 11 years old, staying in America. Her names was Margaret. Her family used to call her 'Maggie'.This story is more than ten years ago when there was a cold war between Russia and America. Citizens from both the countries would feel that there is no reason for such a situation as cold war, but still the common man could hardly
do anything. Margaret was a special child. She saw no reason why cold war should continue. So she wrote a letter to the then President of Russia, Mikhail Gorbachov that Americans are peaceful people who want Russians also to be at peace. The letter reached the President, who personally invited her to visit Russia and see how peace-loving the people of Russia were.Maggie travelled all over Russia, visiting some big cities, attending Peace - rallies and spreading the message that Americans love Russia and they love peace. She also experienced the love she received from Russians. After a long tour of fifteen days, she returned to America and here too, she was the Ambassador of love and peace.We now see that after 5 years, the cold war has ended. They are friendly. The unbelievable has happened! Eventually, the efforts of the smallest to the biggest persons helps to bring peace in the world. Generally, we feel incapable of doing certain things. Each small thought, action and word can build a better world.You are as small or as big as you think yourself to be. The moment you stand for something Great, you are Great!
