The court is dismissed
The courtiers
May leave.

What had to happen, has happened,
Why should we hang around with long faces?
Why should we hesitate?
Who are we afraid of?

The verdict was not pronounced by us,
We only nodded our heads,
We did not even let our minds think.

It was the arguers that argued.
What did we do?

How is it our fault?
We neither summon the session,
Nor do we pronounce the judgement
Only once a year
We come to Kashi
Only to say,
That there is no need  even to summon a session,
Since the verdict for each man,
Had already been pronounced,
Even before he was born.
